Dont let play get too OTT

Although it’s lovely to see your puppy playing well with older dogs in the household, often that play gets out of hand and is too rough. Puppies can get over excited or injured. Break up these play sessions, seperate and give the dogs some time to calm down. Time away from the other dogs in the household helps the puppy learn to cope on its own. Lorenzo and Rachel needed some down time. The easiest way to do that was to separate them and give each dogs a stuffed Kong. A Kong is the perfect way to keep each dog occupied, without increasing their excitement levels. Once the kongs were finished both dogs had a much needed nap.
